25th February 2017 - (Dreamcatcher) Thank you for a wonderful stay in this delightful cottage.  We have all had a very much needed relaxing stay.  What a wonderful surprise on our arrival, it really set the scene for the remainder of our stay.  A great place for both humans and dogs.  Many thanks.

2nd March 2017 - (Dreamcatcher) Had an amazing stay despite the rain, gales, hail and snow! This is our second visit to Dreamcatcher and we still haven't done all we wanted to do.  See you again!!

29th March 2017 - (Moonseeker) Wow - we gasped as we arrived! How fantastic and wonderful to find such a lovely holiday cottage.  Even better - wine, cake and milk too, many thanks!  You have both done a fabulous job on your renovations and we have enjoyed every moment we have been here.  Our dog especially loved the garden and tried his best to befriend the sheep and birds!  We can honestly say we have never been to such a lovely and well equipped cottage and will certainly return and recommend you.  Thank you so much.

21st April 2017 - (Moonseeker) This is the best cottage that we have stayed in, in the Okehampton area.  The beds are comfortable - very important - and everything has been thought of.  We have found satisfying walks, the weather has been warm enough to sit outside and we have enjoyed cooking on the amazing Belling range.  Thank you everybody including "mum" for the yummy Victoria sponge.

28th April 2017 - (Moonseeker) A fantastic cottage, beautifully furnished with all the utilities that you could need.  Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen.  Lovely outside space to enjoy a bit of sunshine at the start of our week.  Loved the bird feeder, seed and book, was great to watch in the morning.  We had a very relaxing week and can recommend a few things to do:  Roadford Lake - lovely walks, pushchair friendly, with well stocked cafe.  Visit to Tavistock and food at the Cornish Arms.  Teignmouth - if you fancy a trip to the coast.  Great lunch at the Beachcomber.  Will definitely recommend to friends and family and hopefully return soon.

3rd May 2017 - (Moonseeker) We have spent a wonderful 5 nights here at Moonseeker.  We regularly rent cottages across the UK and this is the best find yet.  From the moment we arrived it was so peaceful and relaxing and everything we needed was in place - even the dog towels, bowls and blankets.  We loved watching the birds and sheep/lambs from the kitchen and enjoyed a few games of chess when the rain came. The garden is a great sun trap in the afternoon/early evening to enjoy a drink after a long walk on Dartmoor.  We are keen walkers so would recommend heading onto the moors for great views - we did Belstone, Meldon and a walk around the Warren House Inn.

13th May 2017 - (Dreamcatcher) Dreamcatcher is lovely.  All that is needed for a relaxing time.  Enjoyed walks on Dartmoor and visits to gardens, especially Rosemoor and Castle Drogo, meals in, country pubs have been good, and visiting country churches. Loved the garden and birds.

15th May 2017 - (Moonseeker) Thank you all so much Nicky, Sheila and Trevor, for making Moonseeker the perfect place to stay.  It has been a pleasure and delight to spend time in such a lovely cottage.  I really appreciated the thoughtfulnes that went into making me feel so welcome on my first day.  I couldn't have chosen a better base to explore Devon and Cornwall and coming "home" at the end of each day has truly been a pleasure.  I will have no hesitation in highly recommending Moonseeker to friends I know will appreciate the work that has gone into making the cottage so very comfortable, and who will enjoy all the area has to offer..

19th May 2017 - (Moonseeker) What a beautiful cottage! Moonseeker exceeded our expectations and we had such a relaxing stay - which is just what we needed.  We had a lovely welcome from Nicky with the cake, wine, flowers and dog treats - an added bonus.  The cottage was spotless and all the little character details are amazing.  We would definitely love to return for another visit and will be recommending Moonseeker to our family and friends.  PS our dogs loved their stay as much as we did!

20th May 2017 - (Dreamcatcher) Had a wonderful stay at Dreamcatcher wth my dog.  A real home from home and a great base for dog training at Devon Dogs.  Will definitely be coming back!

26th May 2017 - (Moonseeker) - Thank you so much Nicky, Trevor and Mum for an absolutely wonderful weeks stay in your beautiful cottage set in such peaceful surroundings.  Thanks also for the flowers, wine, cake and card waiting for us on arrival - very much appreciated.  We really couldn't have asked for anything more from your well equipped comfortable and homely cottage.  It was just perfect for celebrating turning 21 again!  The birds were so relaxing to watch and the pond wildlife was a joy to see - especially the dragonflies hatching out!  Just amazing ! ....Never caught sight of the wallaby though!  Our visits included National Trust's Buckfast Abbey, Drogo Castle and Lydford Gorge.  We also enjoyed a wonderful day at RHS Rosemoor.  There are so many places we still need to see and visit in the area so what better excuse do we need for us to return.  We will no doubt be back!

27th May 2017 - (Dreamcatcher) We have had a lovely stay here at Dreamcatcher, and we have been so lucky with the weather, dare I say at times it was too hot!!  The cottage is cosy and peaceful with everything in it that you could posibly want.  Thank you to Nicky for all the extra treats, cake, wine, etc.  We have been everywhere man!!  Drove to the ranges at Okehampton and had a lovely walk on the Moor.  Visited Lydford Gorge, spectacular - especially as we had so much rain before we came.  Went to Chagford and then onto the Moor, cycled the Granite Way from Okehampton Station to Lydford.  We can recommend Lydford House Hotel for cream teas.  Then Trebarwith, Tintagel and Boscastle. On our last day we walked from Castle Drogo to Fingle Bridge and back.  We can't wait for our next holiday here, Make sure you enjoy the birds in the little garden.

3rd June 2017 - (Dreamcatcher) We had such a lovely week at Dreamcatcher - home away from home! Nicky was so helpful and the cottage is immaculate.  Best ever Dog friendly accommodation - too hot to try wood burner (we had lovely weather) but that and all the other touches (massive bed, cake and wine, helpful hints) make this a real 5* accommodation.  We will definitely be back  The walk from Castle Drogo is a must, our dog loved Simmons Park (only 7 minute drive away in Okehampton) and the beach at Sandymouth is amazing (about 45 mins drive).  Lots of walks, pubs and relaxation.  Thank you so much!

23rd June 2017 - (Moonseeker) Wow! what can I say...what an amazing place to stay! Moonseeker is quite simply perfect in every way, and there is not a single thing that I would change. Thank you, Nicky, for your very warm welcome and for the bottle of wine and milk, and a big thank you to your mum for the delicious cake!  The cottage is stunning and spotlessly clean.  We have stayed in many holiday cottages over the years and this is without a doubt the cleanest, most well equipped and beautifully furnished cottage we have ever stayed in ....our absolute favourite by a country mile!!  The attention to detail is incredible - everything has been thought of and the layout is perfect - especially great for the dogs!!    The location is superb too - great for walking and exploring.  Favourite place to eat:  The Oxenham Arms, South Zeal and The New Inn, Sampford Courtenay.  Favourite day out: Lydford Gorge. PS - the bed is to die for, we have never slept so well!!

14th July 2017 - (Dreamcatcher) Nice dreams are difficult to catch or remember - but we will always remember Dreamcatcher, it's unique homely feel, peace and tranquility in abundance.  Perfect for a break from the world outside.  The warm welcome from Nicky was great, made us feel at home on arrival.  Must say many thanks for the kind thoughts, bottle of wine, cake & roses.  We love the cottage and the garden.  Please continue to encourage wildlife in the form of birds.  The sunken garden took my breath away.
