Peaceful Rural Location with Easy Access

Our cottages are located at the very edge of the historic village of Sampford Courtenay, offering tranquility whilst remaining convenient. Just 5 minutes drive to Okehampton, a charming market town. Facilities include cafes, shops, restaurants, cinema and a Waitrose supermarket. Only 1.5 miles from the A30 making travel easy.

Ideal for adults who love the outdoors, our location is especially popular with adults, older children and couples who like to relax or explore, including hiking and walking on Dartmoor, cycling in the Devon countryside, visiting Devon and Cornwall beaches or exploring Devon and Cornwall National Trust properties. With excellent road access, you can easily enjoy everything Devon has to offer, as well as popular attractions across the border in Cornwall.

Dreamcatcher - sleeps 2

Dreamcatcher is a spacious, detached, self-catering holiday cottage, specially for two. A romantic hideaway where you can relax & escape, Dreamcatcher has its own private garden at the front. The rear faces the pretty sunken garden. Dreamcatcher is equipped with both underfloor heating, and a woodburner for cosy evenings in. We provide everything you need for a real home away from home. The kitchens in both our cottages are equipped to a high standard.

Moonseeker - sleeps 4

Moonseeker is on the other side of the sunken garden to Dreamcatcher. You will have a high degree of privacy, with your own enclosed private and secluded rear garden, decked patio and bbq. This holiday cottage is 2 storey with 2 ensuite bedrooms upstairs, full underfloor heating, a woodburner in the lounge, leather sofa and armchairs, and a range style gas cooker in the well equipped kitchen. Both cottages have power showers. Free WiFi throughout.

Dogs and other Pets Welcome

Sometimes a holiday just isn’t the same if you have to leave your pet friend behind. We therefore offer pet and dog friendly holidays and short breaks in Devon and welcome your well behaved pet. Both Moonseeker and Dreamcatcher have fully enclosed private gardens and we can provide bowls, a pet throw and towel. If you enjoy muddy walks both cottages have muddy paw and boot wash facilities.

SPA TREATMENTS - IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOLIDAY COTTAGE We are delighted to be able to offer the services of a highly qualified, very experienced local therapist offering a range of therapeutic treatments. She will bring everything needed to you for your relaxing treatment at Webber Hill Farm Cottages, which includes hot stone massage. Short Break Holidays

What could be more relaxing than to get away for a few days to recharge those batteries knowing that you will enjoy the same high quality comforts on a short break as you would for a week away. You may enjoy a cycling short break, or maybe you just want to enjoy some walking on Dartmoor - however you spend your time you will receive a warm, friendly welcome and enjoy a comfortable stay in this lovely part of Devon.

Things to do

If you love cycling or walking when you are on holiday you will find plenty of cycle routes and walking options in the area. Just a few minutes drive will have you walking on Dartmoor, or you can walk from your cottage to Abbeyford Woods. We are located close to the Tarka Trail (part of the National Cycle Route 27), and cycle hire can be arranged so you don't have to bring your own bikes. Our mid Devon location means you can easily reach National Trust properties and gardens throughout Devon and Cornwall.

Wildlife

If you like exploring and enjoy wildlife, there are over 40 nature reserves that are easily accessible from us. Walking on Dartmoor is a terrific way to listen to skylarks, cuckoo's, stone chats to mention but a few. When it is sunny the smell of the gorse is amazing! You won't have to go far however to see a wide variety of birds - we have bird feeders outside the cottages and provide sunflower seeds so that you can keep them topped up and birdwatch all day long if you want! The swallows often skim over the pond, where dragonflies dance all summer long.
